Akron Radiology, Inc. (“ARI”) is an independently owned and physician led practice staffed by over 30 radiologists and 2 physician assistants. We are the exclusive provider of subspecialized radiology interpretation and interventional procedures at all Summa Health System, Western Reserve Hospital locations.

The practice was formed in 1990 by a small group of Radiologists serving Akron City Hospital and St. Thomas Hospital, which is now known as Summa Health System. Over the last 3 decades, Summa’s acquisitions and growth generated expansion of ARI with 24/7/365 services at the Health System’s 2 hospitals, 10 outpatient health centers, 5 emergency rooms, and 1 urgent care location.
